Sydney Carlsen is a senior Management major with a minor in Legal Studies at Clemson University. Originally from Hartland, Wisconsin, Sydney has always been highly active, playing soccer throughout childhood and recently finished with the Clemson Women’s Club Soccer team. She's also past exec member of the Clemson Sailing Club, Additionally, Sydney has extensive childcare experience, babysitting since age 13 after earning an American Red Cross Babysitting Certificate.

I am currently a senior in college, finishing my degree online, and I have always had a genuine passion for working with children. After completing my undergraduate degree, I hope to attend OT school and pursue a career in pediatric occupational therapy, so working with children is something I truly love and see as an important part of my future. I have many years of childcare experience, including babysitting since my freshman year of high school, working as a swim instructor for children ages 2–12 for about two years, nannying for children with special needs, and working as an assistant preschool teacher in a 2-year-old classroom, which I absolutely adored!
