Hi, I'm Victoria , and I've been babysitting as well as working with children for over 5 years. I'm currently in my junioryear of College and attend North Carolina Central University, majoring in Sports Medicine. I am certified in CPR and basic life support I also have an intermediate understanding of sign language. I am able to hold a full conversation in ASL. When I'm not in school or babysitting, I enjoy playing volleyball and shopping.I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help growand teach. I truly love kids! I am the oldest of 5 siblings and 11 grandchildren, so babysitting has always been a part of my routine! I've known from a young age I wanted to help children with disabilities, so I studied to become a speech pathologist to give those kiddos a voice! I have experience in clinic and out with children of all ages and needs, extensively with children with ASD! Because of my job, I am required to be CPR certified and up to date on all vaccines. I know basic sign language and have experience with alternative communication means such as with a device or picture exchange. I also have experience teaching dance, cello and basic piano. I have tutored in most subjects and am trained in the Science of Reading literacy approach as part of my schooling. I have studied the SOS approach to conduct feeding therapy, which can help make meal time fun for picky eaters!
