Hi! I'm Noelle Paek, a 20-year-old student at Carleton College majoring in English and Classics. I've been caring for kids for as long as I can remember, and it's easily my favorite way to spend an afternoon. Most of my babysitting experience has been with three- and four-year-olds and with seven- to nine-year-olds, and I enjoy both stages for different reasons. With little ones I stick closely to your routines for naps, snacks, and bedtime, and I'm patient with big feelings. With older kids I like giving them a say in how we spend our time, whether that's a scavenger hunt, a board game, or an elaborate pillow fort! Before any of this, I grew up as one of the older cousins in a big family, which taught me more about kids than any job could.I also tutor SAT prep and work at Carleton's Writing Center, and I've worked with students from elementary school through college. I love teaching, so I'm comfortable helping with homework or reading practice if that's useful to you. And I love animals, so pets in the house are a bonus, not a problem!Most of all, I'm hoping to find families to work with over the long term.
