My name is Rebecca; I am 29 years old, and Igradated from Northwestern University, and I will be attending business school beginning this fall. I work a full time job during the week, but I am looking for weekend and evening jobs. I have a clean driving record, I do not have a criminal record, and I do not smoke or drink. I was a Girl Scout from Kindergarten until my senior year in high school where we learned many important skills such as childcare, first aid, and CPR. When I was in sixth grade, our troop started a babysitter's club which lasted for two years. There were eight of us, and we watched a total of 40 kids at once ages 3-12. We obtained our CPR certification and First Aid Training at this time. I have been babysitting for 11 years. In college I spent a lot of time babysitting children of various ages. I am 18 years old, I just graduated high school and will be spending a year at NCMC, then transferring to GVSU! I love working with kids and am going into the children’s wellness social work field! I have been working around kids since I was 13! I have experience with special needs due to growing up with a special needs brother. I am CPR certified and willingly to get first aid certified as well! I have been babysitting the same family for the past 5 years, growing up along side their two boys. I also spent my mornings last spring volunteering at the Early Learners Building in Boyne City, working with 3 years olds! I have a lot of experience with special needs due to my brother having severe autism. I’ve helped my mother care for him my whole life and I have lots of patience for children like him. It melted my heart! The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is having a great relationship with the children as well as the parents. Hello! My name is Kariana and I am 24. I have had experience caring for children of various ages throughout my life. In undergrad I worked as a swim teacher for children aged 4 months to 12 years of age, where I got experience working with children of a wide range of different backgrounds and abilities. I then worked at a daycare, where I worked comfortably in all of the rooms. In that environment, I mostly cared for ages 1-4, working with 4-10 children by myself.
