Hi! My name is Katelynn, I’m 20 years old, originally from Fresno, and currently in school pursuing my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. I’ve always had a passion for working with children and hope to eventually become a pediatric nurse. I’m the oldest of five, so caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I naturally have a very nurturing and responsible personality, and I’ve always been the “motherly” one among my siblings and friends. I currently work as a respite worker and have been doing so for over a year. I care for individuals with disabilities of all ages, with most of the children I work with being under 15. Before that, I was a swim instructor for three years, primarily working with toddlers and young children. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable working with children with different personalities and needs. Hi! I’m currently in my second year of community college studying Biology. I have 5 siblings and over 15 younger cousins, so I’m definitely no stranger to kids haha!
