I’m a full-time graduate student at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. I taught 2nd grade in Williamson County for two years, and I love working with kids! I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education from UAB and previous babysitting experience throughout high school and undergrad. Most of my Nashville area experience is with infants, toddlers, and young children. I prioritize the safety of all children and can support families with unique needs! :)

Hey! My name is Ta’Myia, but you can call me Myia. I’m 22 years old with a bachelor’s in psychology. I decided to pursue psychology because I would love to be a child psychologist. My main inspiration for this career path is that I want to be a child advocate for children in need. Sometimes they just need someone that will help them process their feelings. Currently, I’m a registered behavior technician (working with children with autism.) I also have experience with type 1 diabetes and overseeing insulin injections. My niece was diagnosed 7 years ago so I am quite educated when it comes to type 1 diabetics.
