I am currently an Early Childhood Education major at Auburn University. Within my major I have been in and out of classrooms, helping run lessons, make materials, and generally watch over and care for children. Along with this, I am currently helping to run a summer camp at Auburn for children ages 3 through 8. I act as a lead teacher helping children do everything from washing their hands to creating our elaborate projects.

I have several years of experience working with children in both camp and after-school settings. I worked as a Camp Counselor at Camp Bessemer in 2023 and currently work at the YMCA since 2025 as both a Camp Counselor and an After-School Care Counselor. In these roles, I supervise children, plan engaging activities, assist with homework, ensure a safe and positive environment, and build strong relationships with kids and families. I am also currently pursuing a degree in Child Development, which has strengthened my understanding of children’s growth, behavior, and development.
