I have several years of experience working with children in both professional and volunteer settings. I've been a camp counselor at my church camp and worked as a Behavior Technician supporting children with autism. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is watching them grow, learn, and become more confident over time. I understand that every child is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, interests, and routines. Whether we're playing with dolls or cars, building LEGOs, doing crafts, dancing, singing, or just relaxing with a movie, I'm always happy to join in on what they enjoy. A little about me outside of childcare: I love cooking and trying new recipes, and I actually find cleaning therapeutic! Hey, my name is Jada. I love working with kids and making their day. I am currently a college student. And I love to have a lot of fun with the kids. I tutored for teach for America for two years elementary and middle school students for math and reading. So if your children need help with homework I got it! I was a summer counselor at adventure science center creating interactive activities for children K-12. We dealt with students who were autistic and adhd as well there and required a little more attention. I volunteered at Emerald Youth as well as the boys and girls club working in the concession for children events and monitoring the kids. I also was a Sub for Sub Teacher Source as well as a summer counselor for middle school students during a film internship . I also babysit children on sitter tree. I am CPR and First Aid certified:)
