Hi!! My name is Sydney and I am originally from Memphis, TN! I recently graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL (i.e. May 2025)! I graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Science. I have tons of experience working with kids as I worked for a daycare in high school and have nannied for several families over the years!

I have been working in the childcare field since 2019, where I began assisting at the local daycare with special needs children and eventually began working at the elementary schools in my area as an assistant teacher, teaching stem classes and art classes, as well as assisting with the special needs classrooms. I have been working with children who specifically have autism since 2018, but as I have two siblings with autism, I am very experienced in the area. I am very active in my community theater, and have a deep appreciation for the arts. I am very high energy and enjoy coming up with games and activities both indoor and outdoor as I believe children should spend more time doing things and experiencing things then having screen time. I also teach classes at an elementary school as well as art classes, so if permitted I have many crafts and science experiments already lesson planned out to use.
