Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am currently a student as USM. I’m majoring in nursing and plan to do a minor in psychology as well. Currently, I have a nursing assistant license as well as a phlebotomist license which I am very excited to use! With my experience as a cna, I know what it’s like to take care of any needs a person may have. I have also dealt with some residents with disabilities such as Alzheimer’s, mental disability, heard of hearing, etc. However, my real experience comes from my younger sister. When I was 17 my family adopted a 6 month old and I willingly provided most of the care for her. I loved it more than I initially thought I would and I attended every event her daycare hosted and volunteered to read to the children. I just recently moved to the Hattiesburg area after transferring to USM. I am double majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology as well as Psychology.
