Hi! My name is Lexi S - I am a freshman at the University of Georgia studying Music Therapy. I plan to become a Music Therapist following my graduation in 2027. I love caring for children and seeing them thrive and become their own unique selves!Most of my babysitting experience comes from caring for my special needs brother, who has severe autism. He needs assistance and supervision with eating, bathing, with simple movement tasks (getting dressed, tying shoes, brushing teeth), etc. I have some experience caring for kids with DownSyndrome, and other children with autism. After school my senior year of high school, I helped my neighbor with her art class for elementary-age kids and babysat some of them separately too. Over the summers, I have lifeguarded in neighborhoods and been CPR-First Aid-AED certified.I am happy to provide a resume, and references, or answer any questions. I know guys are less preferred , but I do very well with kids. My family is huge and I’ve got tons of young cousins I’ve helped care for/watched. Im an uncle to 3 young boys between 3 months old and 4 years. When the first was born I was living with my sister since her location was close to a summer internship and helped care for him as needed. Why babysit? Well i work full time already with a good job but im expecting a child in about 2 months and im trying to prepare better financially. Also I enjoy kids and additional time with them could help me for my own here shortly! I get along well with kids because I’m an “everything” type. I can be outdoor sports guy to gaming all day to imagining I’m a princess that dragons are after if I need to. Very fit and active and can also sit and watch movies. I’d never try to teach you kids my politics or beliefs, I will simply care for them, make sure they are safe, give them a friend to hangout with while your away, and if any advice is needed, it will be the basic, it’s good to share, be kind to others. Etc.
