Hello! I completed my undergraduate degree at Samford University, and I am now in graduate school at UAB. I played softball at Samford and managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA as a student-athlete. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at UAB, and I have a passion for working with kids! Hello, I’m Jana and I’m an Alabama native! Growing up I admired my mother’s relationship with her students as well as any child she would come in contact with. I began to mimic her caregiving spirit at a young age which caused kids to gravitate toward me! Because I find such joy in being around kids and positively inspiring them, I decided to major in Early Childhood Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
