Hi! I graduated from UAB in 2024 with my bachelor’s degree in biology and a double minor in chemistry and psychology. I’m from Troy, AL and have been in Birmingham for the past 5 years. I am the oldest of 3 - fun fact, my youngest brother and I have an 11 year age gap! I am passionate about working with children and would love to go into the pediatric field after finishing my master’s in physician assistant studies. I love playing fun activities that allows me to engage with the children, I’m good with putting kids to bed, and I love being outdoors. Hi, I’m Kara! I’m a graduate student at UAB working toward my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, with a strong passion for working with children. Before beginning OT school, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Samford University. I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years and have cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. Along with babysitting for local families, I’ve volunteered in children’s ministry, supported kids with diverse needs through therapy programs, and worked in pediatric clinical settings. I have been on wyndy for almost 2 years, babysat all throughout high school, worked at the boys and girls club after school program, and have nieces and nephews I help care for. Hi! My name is Lalia (Luh-lee-ah) currently 27 years old. I am the eldest sister of my family so I was tasked with responsibilities at a young age. I started baby sitting around age 14 and been doing it since. The youngest I have taken care of were premature twins and the oldest has been so far 13 years old. I have cousins that have Down Syndrome, Autism, or ADHD that I took care ofwhen they were younger. I also was a nanny for a 21 months old and 3 months old siblings for about 8 months before they got into a daycare! I have many hours of experience, I honestly cannot count how many! Currently finishing some courses online for software development. I enjoy reading, coloring, coding and spending time with my family and our dogs during my free time. I’m happy to help whenever needed!

Hello everyone ! I am a UAB Alumna x2, and I love being around kids and making sure they have the best time ever! I am in the process of getting ready to go back and get my doctorate,but in the meantime,I work at Encompass Health in Pelham, AL, and I babysit on the side. I have been babysitting other people’s kids since I was 14, and I am also an aunt to a lot of beautiful and sweet boys and girls. I am always flexible and willing to help whenever needed.
