Hi Moms &/or Dads. I am Retonya. I am new to this app but not new to caregiving. I have been a caregiver for over 22+ years with experience in both: a home setting and professional school setting, ie. public schools and preschools/daycares. I raised my siblings while my parents worked to provide. This is what I believe I’m called to do. I’m also studying to be an RBT, I’ve completed training and I’m currently prepping for the final exam. I have over 10 years of experience working with children that have special “ABILITIES”. I don’t like using the word disability. (MY SON USUALLY TAG ALONG FOR JOBS.) He is 4yo and nonverbal. He has Autism so he plays alone but enjoys playing along side other children. It’s hard to get a sitter for him, hence why I have made this a full time job, to help other moms going through what I’m going through. I’m here Mommas! ❤️💙 He likes being with Mommy.
