Hi! My name is Tatiana! I am from the Northeast and graduated from Penn State in 2023. My major was Biobehavioral Health. Starting in January, I will be doing an Accelerated Nursing program in Virginia beach, with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse! I have been living in Virginia going on 3 years. I love working with kids and have worked with them before college and during my breaks in between college at a daycare. I have worked with 4 families in Virginia, both for parents who work and stay home. At the daycare I worked at, I worked with kids younger than the age of one all the way up to school age. Babysitting here, I primarily have worked with kids a few months old up to 6 years old. I have worked with families with 2-3 kids, who I have babysat all at once. For one of the families, I helped teach a child speech and worked with him to address important milestones for his age group including social/emotional, language/communication, cognitive, and gross motor development. He just went off to school, as well as two of the other kids I babysat. I love to cook in the kitchen with the kids and do fun games, crafts and activities as well! I am comfortable with pets in the home, as I have two puppers of my own at home! Working with kids is a privilege and is such a fun job! It is something I truly enjoy and hope to have the opportunity to do more of with my extra time before going off to school again!
