I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years old. I am 36 now and I have worked for numerous daycares and families over the last 23 years. I have been a nanny to 4 families including 3 years for a wonderful family in the Metairie area caring for their sweet boy from the time he was 11 months until he was 4 and entered Pre-K. Most recently, I was a nanny to a set of 3 year old boy triplets. There have been many other families sprinkled throughout the years, as well. I am trained in emergency care; I received my EMT-Basic certification my senior year of high school before I received my high school diploma. My certifications are not up-to-date, as I have changed my career paths (criminal justice with plans for something in the legal field), but I do still have the knowledge of care. I am absolutely willing to be recertified in CPR, if that would make you and your family feel more comfortable. I do have my COVID vaccination, as well. I am a lifelong resident of Slidell and I am very familiar with the St. Tammany Parish and New Orleans areas. I have 7 nieces and nephews, but I am single with no children of my own. I also have no problem with pets; my family owned many different dogs when I was growing up and I even worked at a dog grooming salon for a while. Chihuahuas to Pitts, dogs are perfectly fine with me! I have my own reliable transportation and many references upon request.
