My name is Sara M, and I’m graduating with my Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Special Needs. Working with children has always been where I feel the most aligned, and my experience reflects that. I’ve worked in a large daycare across every age group, and I’ve also served as a substitute teacher in the Griffin‑Spalding School System, including a long‑term position in a Severe and Profound Special Needs classroom at Griffin High School.Through all of that, I realized something important about myself: I prefer working with fewer children so I can give each one the focused attention, connection, and support they truly need. I’ve also completed the 40‑hour ABA parent training, which has strengthened both my understanding and my compassion.Creativity is a big part of how I teach. I love to sing, dance, craft, explore sensory play, and create early learning activities that match each child’s interests and developmental needs.
