I’m Madeline (Maddie) and I am a 32 year old woman living in Germantown with my partner of 7 years- Christopher- and our two rats Pixel and Gibby (who are actually very sweet chihuahuas).I moved from Southeast Michigan to the Memphis area in Autumn 2021 as the first hire of a wonderful nonprofit organization where I instructed school-aged students in horseback riding full time. I have since left that position and now instruct riding and assist in management of a farm in Germantown. I love my job and hope to find part-time childcare employment that complements my work and goals. I have several years of nanny experience, am a former coach of former coach of middle and high school equestrian teams and managed a tutoring agency where I also tutored kids of all ages in English, math, science, and French. I am active, patient and responsible in all aspects of life.I am a great communicator with kids and adults in all types of situations- I do well under pressure in challenging circumstances, like when plans don’t play out or someone wales up on the wrong side of the bed. Greetings! My name is Shannon and I am the mother of 3 amazing boys, Carter, Calvin and Cooper. I have worked in hospitality for almost 35 years with aspecialty in wine and spirits. Although I never quite reached my goal of becoming a Master Sommelier, I am grateful for the unique experiences my career has afforded me but am ready to move on to something else that makes my heart happy, hanging with the littles! It was not until I took some time during Covid to volunteer at a local day care center that I realized how much I missed sharing my time with the Future Adults of America.
