About Maranda

Hi, my name is Maranda and I currently live in Stamford, CT. I really enjoy spending time with children and being someone they feel comfortable with, safe around, and happy to be with. I have experience babysitting a 2-year-old for about eight months while both parents worked evening shifts. I would arrive around 2:00 p.m. and stay until about 11:00 p.m. During that time, I helped with dinner, played with them, spent time outside when possible, read books, watched TV together, and supported bedtime routines. I also helped keep things tidy throughout the evening. I truly enjoyed becoming part of their daily routine and making the evenings feel smooth and comforting for both the child and the parents. I’m also a proud auntie to three nephews and one niece, ages 4 to 10, and I spend a lot of time with them when I can. Being with them has given me experience with different ages and personalities, from playful and energetic moments to quieter time like reading, games, and winding down. I understand how busy life can be for parents, and I really appreciate being able to help make things a little easier. I try to bring patience, care, and a calm presence so kids feel supported and parents can feel at ease knowing their children are in good hands.
