About Alyssa

Hi there! My name is Alyssa. I’m an early-30s professional looking for a change of pace and the opportunity to spend more time doing something I genuinely love—caring for kids. I graduated from the University of Montana in 2018 with a degree in Public Health. While part of my career was spent in that field, most of my professional experience has been in hospitality, where I developed strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced environments. Creating positive experiences and making people feel cared for has always been at the heart of what I do. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I enjoy meeting each child where they are. Whether we’re building forts, tackling arts and crafts, reading books, playing outside, helping with homework, or just being silly together, I love creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can be themselves. As a born-and-raised Montanan, I like to spend as much time outdoors as I can. I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, discovering coffee shops and local restaurants, creative art projects, cooking and baking, and finding new adventures around town. I love encouraging curiosity, creativity, and active play, and I’m always happy to tailor activities to your child’s interests. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your children, and I strive to be dependable, communicative, and someone both parents and kids feel comfortable with. If you think I might be a good fit for your situation, I’d love to hear from you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I can’t wait to meet your family!
