Hi! I’m Mar-Tonia Sanders, a passionate and experienced early childhood educator who truly loves what I do. I’ve spent several years working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a variety of childcare settings, helping little ones learn, grow, and feel safe while building strong relationships with their families. My experience includes working as a lead teacher, assistant manager, and childcare worker in centers like Munchkinland Daycare, Busy Bees Learning Center, Southside Child Development Center, and Country Day School. I’ve supported daily routines, created fun and engaging activities, guided early learning development, and helped children reach important milestones — all while keeping the classroom full of warmth, structure, and joy. I also bring experience from youth recreational programs through the City of Alexandria, where I got to connect with kids in creative, active, and play-centered ways. I recently earned my CDA credential, which reflects my dedication to growing in this field and giving children the best care and learning environment possible. I’m also CPR certified!! At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: making sure every child feels seen, supported, and excited to learn each day 💛
