Hi! I’m Amy, and I’ve been babysitting since high school. Working with kids has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I graduated from the University of Virginia, where I majored in Psychology and Spanish, and some of my favorite courses focused on infant and child development. I currently work for a school district, primarily with elementary school children, and also have experience as a medical assistant, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm, attentive, and organized while caring for others. I plan on returning to graduate school and am particularly interested in occupational therapy, as I’m passionate about helping children grow and thrive. Having a younger sister with a disability taught me patience, empathy, and how to connect with children of all abilities. I’m COVID vaccinated and comfortable helping with household tasks, meals, homework, and pets, and I’m very hands-on and attentive with kids. I’m available most evenings and weekends and enjoy building meaningful, lasting connections with children and their families.

Hello! My name is Faye M and I look forward to assisting your family! I am a recent grad who received an Associate's in Occupational Therapy. I have decided to take my time in studying for my boards and I am looking to work the next month and a half to 2 months. I hope to assist parents/caregivers 1-3 days a week with their sitting needs.I have been working with children off and on since I was a teen. I have experience with ages ranging infant-10. I have babysat for neighbors, family friends, daycare parents, and worked as an Assistant Teacher for KinderCare Learning Center and for the Child Daycare Center South located on Quantico Marine Corps Base. My most recent position was working as a Rehabilitation Technician at Children's Hospital of Richmond Stafford Therapy Center. There, I assisted in clean-up and setup of Therapy sessions and assisted the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists with sessions where needed/requested. My future career goal is to work in a Peds Outpatient Clinic as an Occupational Therapy Assistant to put my recently earned degree to use. Children have always held a special place in my heart. Their innocence, imagination, and authenticity are a joy to be around.
