Hello! I'm a Country Gal, born and raised, originally hailing from the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in the Oregon Willamette Valley, and have a strong appreciation for the great outdoors. I started working with children 23 years ago-- first as a Teacher in English, then an Assistant Teacher to preschool ages, and then working hands-on with individual families in the role of a Nanny/Child-care Provider. I have always loved children (my own is now grown, and we are close), and as a Parent myself, I understand the concerns and challenges that parents face. I also understand that each child is unique-- in temperament, giftings, and natural inclinations. I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon, where I earned my master’s in curriculum and teaching. My most recent experience was teaching in a 5th grade classroom. Before that, I was a Nanny for a 16-month-old and a 5-year-old. Growing up, I spent my summers volunteering and then working at a summer camp for kids’. This camp served students with and without disabilities. I am very flexible for dates and times!
