Hey! I’ve worked with children of all ages in settings such as foster care, elementary school, and church children’s ministry. In addition, I’m the oldest of 6 kids so there’s always something fun going on and plenty of invaluable experiences. I have a variety of friends and family members with severe food allergies and understand the attention to detail when dealing with that. Aside from working with kids I love writing, coffee, and hiking!

My responsibilities included supervising children throughout the day, planning age-appropriate activities, helping with arts and crafts, games, and learning activities, assisting with meals and snacks, and ensuring children followed daily routines. I also helped resolve conflicts, encouraged positive behavior, and created a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for every child.I communicated regularly with parents and staff about each child’s day and worked as part of a team to meet the individual needs of the children. In my current position at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, I have continued to develop patience, responsibility, and strong caregiving skills by ensuring patient safety, providing compassionate care, and staying calm in fast-paced situations. I am dependable, attentive, CPR/BLS certified, and passionate about providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun.
