I currently work full time as an Associate Director at Wesleyan University. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Education. Throughout all of high school and college, I worked part time (then full time during summers/breaks) at a childcare center in Waltham, MA. During my time at the childcare center, I became lead teacher certified and ran a toddler classroom for several summers. I also babysat and nannied very frequently for families I met through the daycare. Later in my professional career, I worked with special needs high schoolers. I have a total of 8 years of professional childcare experience and 8 years of experience high school and college students. I am 30 years old and new to Connecticut!
