I am starting my first nursing job at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on an Ortho/Ortho Trauma floor. I am happy to call TN my new home!I have a younger sister and 10 younger cousins with a 5+ year age gap. I have been babysitting forever, starting with my family, and before moving I was babysitting multiple families in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Being with children and playing/taking care of them has always been a huge part of my life and something I truly enjoy!

My family relocated to Tennessee nine years ago. Prior to our move, I was an elementary school teacher with 15 years of service. In addition, we were liscensed foster parents in RI where we welcomed into our home a 6 week old, 2 month old, and 16 month old over the course of a year. Instead of looking for a teaching job when we arrived in Franklin, I decided to shift gears and started nannying for a 2 month old whom I was with for 5 years. I also tutored and assisted with homeschool pods during the pandemic. Most recently, I became a certified postpartum doula and have been working with families in overnight shifts. All this to say, I love supporting families and working with children in a variety of settings.
