I have loved children my whole life, and watching them grow and learn is such a rewarding experience. In high school, I was a nanny for two summers for a family with two children aged 5 and 9. I also volunteered as an afterschool preschool teacher assistant and babysat occasionally for local families. I went to college to pursue a degree in education and psychology, where I learned about child development and teaching philosophies. During one summer I nannied for a 5 month old and got to be a part of her development until she was 10 months old.
