Hi! My name is Paisley H, I’m 18 years old, and I just graduated at the top of my high school class. This fall, I’ll be attending South Dakota State University to study Pediatric Nursing—a path I chose because of my deep love for working with children and the joy they bring into my life. I have over six years of babysitting experience, caring for children of all ages through family, family friends, and community connections. During my junior and senior years, I worked as a classroom aide in a 2nd-grade classroom and participated in my school's elementary mentoring program for three years. I also serve as a Religious Education teacher at my church, teaching kindergarteners. One of my greatest joys is being a Godmother to my niece and nephew, whom I absolutely adore. Last summer, I worked as a CNA, where I gained hands-on experience and became certified in CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, and other first aid techniques—skills that are especially valuable when caring for children. Outside of childcare, I enjoy going on walks, swimming, doing Pilates, reading, spending time in the sun, and being with my family and friends.
