Hi! I’m Heather, and I’ve been working with children for about 9 years. I’ve always loved being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child and being someone they feel comfortable and safe with. I love coming up with fun activities, playing outside, doing crafts, helping with learning, and just being part of their everyday routines. I have experience caring for children of different ages and have a background in child development and behavior management. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, which has given me a better understanding of children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified. I’m responsible, patient, organized, and flexible, but I also like to have fun and let kids be kids. I’m comfortable managing routines, preparing meals, keeping a safe and clean environment, and handling the unexpected that can come with childcare. Most importantly, I want parents to feel confident that their children are in caring, trustworthy hands while they’re away.
