Hi there! My name is Destiny, I'm 22, and I'm very interested in this position! I bring 9 years of childcare experience with a wide range of personalities, preferences, and care needs. Over the years, I've worked with several organizations that serve children with special needs, have nannied for many families in my community, and raised my now 13-year-old sister for most of her life. I have nannied for several families with children ages 2 months-middle school, however, I have extensive work with infants and toddlers! One family I worked with had two children who I started with at 3 months and a little over 1 who I worked with until they were 1.5 and 2.5! Before that, I nannied for a baby from 2 months through 1 as well, which both have been such rewarding experiences! My academic background gives me a strong foundation in child development and mental health, which has been very helpful in my caregiving. Though my CPR and First Aid certifications have expired, I have been trained in each previously, and I keep myself refreshed with the Red Cross first aid app. I'm fully vaccinated, including the COVID booster and flu shot, and I'm always happy to help out around the house to take some of the load off your family.
