I have two younger sisters and a younger brother, so I’ve grown up taking care of them, along with cousins and other extended family members. From the age of about 16 on, I did babysitting jobs on and off for multiple families, including neighbors, my mom’s boss, and family friends. When I was 20, I found a job nannying for a family of three boys, ages 3, 7, and 10 years. When I was almost 22, I started working at a daycare at the lead teacher of the infant classroom. Across all these childcare jobs, I’ve had experience with many different ages and personalities of children, as well as experience with up to eight children at a time.
