I babysat (and animal sat at the same time) a toddler for 4-6 hours once a week for about a year. I was responsible for dinner, diaper changes, bedtime, and other bedtime routines such as hair and teeth brushing, bedtime stories, night time baby monitoring.

I love working with children and have done so in various environments for years, with children ranging from 1-13. I have volunteered with children at a summer camp, and worked as a program teacher for that same camp. I have also nannied for a family with 4 kids, and volunteered for a College Mentoring program that provided me with one on one experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have cared for children from ages 1-13 in many different environments. I am studying Early Childhood Development and Education at Virginia Tech, and would love to gain more experience!

I have experience working as a baby-sitter in my younger years as a teen, working with babies and toddlers. In more recent years (past 3-4) I have worked with children in academic spaces. I've worked as an after school and summer program facilitator, working with young girls in grades 6-12 in Long Island and New York City. I have worked with preschoolers and elementary grade level students in my time as a library page where I taught summer workshops that were held for the kids, as well as at a daycare center as an assistant teacher.

I have been working in a daycare for about two years now. I love working with kids and I am entering my senior year of college to reach my goal of being a social worker specializing in foster care! I nannied for a year prior to my daycare job and I am cpr certified!
