I’m a warm, patient, and dependable caregiver who genuinely loves working with kids! I’ve been caring for children since high school, when I regularly babysat for local families, and I continued babysitting periodically throughout college and graduate school. More recently, my clinical training and professional work in Clinical Psychology have involved working with children and families consistently, giving me extensive experience understanding children’s developmental, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. I believe kids need a balance of structure and plenty of opportunities for play, creativity, curiosity, and fun. I love getting down on the floor to play, doing crafts, reading, exploring outside, or creating activities around a child’s interests. I’m also happy to help with homework and routines and enjoy helping kids build confidence and independence. I’m naturally organized and especially good at creating systems that keep things running smoothly. I understand that children’s behavior is communication and approach challenging moments with empathy, consistency, and age-appropriate boundaries.

I’m a CSU student going for early education that has Camp Counselor Energy at all times!! I love to dance play music and act silly on most occasions, and love writing, telling, and making up stories. I’ve been teaching since I started learning, working as a Parish School of Religion teacher and Vacation Bible School Leader, where I got to put on skits and teach rudimentary ASL. I’ll be back this summer working for my city school’s summer camp, for my third year.
