I graduated from the University of Idaho in the spring of 2025 with a B. F. A. and majored in studio art and design. My previous child care experience includes two years of assistant teach at a learning center during which time I worked with children ages 5 months - 5 years. Following that position, I worked as a private nanny caring for an 18-month-old. I have also spent time assisting with an elementary art program for grades K-5. I am CPR and first aid certified and have a reliable vehicle. Hi, I’m Aubrey! I’m from the east coast of Washington state, but I’m living in Rexburg as a junior studying child development at BYU-Idaho. I come from a big family, (I’m the oldest of 10 children,) and from those experiences with my siblings, I found that I enjoy working with kids and playing with them. I recently worked at a daycare with kids specifically ages 1-2 years, and I have also worked as a para educator full time in a special education class (K-2nd grade.) While working with kids, I love their energy and enthusiasm for life and have discovered their love for play! I believe every child has a special spirit and deserves to be seen and loved. My eventual goal after graduation is to be a behavioral interventionist, working with kids with special needs one on one!
