Before that I was a Camp Director for 7 years at an Easter Seals Camp for children and adults with disabilities. I stopped teaching to care for an elderly parent and decided to retire very early.I currently volunteer at the Halifax Humane Society and Ormond Main Street but really miss the interaction with children. I am very energetic but serious about safety. I absolutely love having conversations with little ones or seeing the development of babies! I have a graduate degree in Education and am going back to school for a Masters in social work.
