I am local to Humbolt and have had the privilege to live here all my life. I enjoy being in nature, especially around water! I love teaching and getting to share my knowledge of nature with young children.Most of all, I love watching children get excited about learning of the world around them first hand. I know it will be these bits of knowledge and these experiences that will stick with them for a lifetime.Professionaly, I have been a tutor for several years now and have gotten to work one-on-one with a variety of ages and stages of learning. My favorite memories over the years have been the times when students have taught me how to be a better teacher and how to connect with them through their individual characteristics, interst, likes, etc. There is always something more to learn!
