I am the oldest out of all my cousins and siblings so I’ve always had to be the responsible oldest one growing up. I was also blessed with my step daughter 6 years ago that I have raised as her “mama bridge” since she was 3 months old. Since then I’ve had a few nieces and nephews come into our lives and I am also considered to them “Mama Bridge”. Which I love so much because I really do feel like another mom figure to all the children in my life. As adults I feel that we are responsible for all children even if they are not physically ours. We need to protect them and guide them through out life, no matter the relationship. My duties as a nanny consisted of feeding, cleaning, cooking and helping the child grow and develop their skills by using a play-based approach mixed with Montessori.
