I have four years of experience working with little ones birth through age three! Mydegree is in Birth-Kindergarten Development. I graduate this December! In my degree plan, and my career, I learn how children develop from all facets beginning at birth to age 5. Those aspects are: Cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and language development. Based on evidence I see, using the Reggio Emilia teaching approach (similar to Montessori but has more focus on emotional well being and social skills), I plan experiences and practice interactions in specific ways that will encourage healthy growth. There's truly nothing more special than bonding with a little one and helping them grow to their full potential! I am a recent graduate with a degree in Art Education. This past semester I taught art to kids and showed different techniques to help develop their knowledge in art. I have experience with kids who have special needs do to going to attending an all inclusive school. I have a cousin with special needs and I have babysat him while growing up. I also helped/volunteered in a bible class which was for kids who have special needs. Throughout college I babysat kids. I also volunteered at my church during college and helped with a kids bible class. I also worked at an art studio where I got to take over kids camps and guide them along projects. I also helped with creating events for kids while working there. During High school I also created my own curriculum when I held art classes.
