I have 9 years of childcare experience aging from 6mos to 13 years. My longest job lasted from when the youngest twins were 6 until they aged out of needing care completely. I graduated from Samford Summa Cum Laude this past April and am currently enrolled in both the JD and Masters in Bioethics programs at Emory. At Samford, I was a co-author of a selected proposal for a $75,000 EPA Environmental Justice grant to provide asthma education to underserved youth in rural Alabama through a virtual summer camp program. My off campus involvement has included volunteering at the Special Equestrians in Talladega, an organisation which teaches special needs children to ride horses and has provided me with extensive special needs care experience, interning with an asthma education camp, and working in retail and music entertainment. I resigned from my last job of 2.5 years to move for school last fall. I have celiac disease and am very well educated in food allergies. I have been CPR certified, but my formal registration has lapsed.
