Hi! My name is Mackenzie W and I am currently finishing out my last year of college online for a degree in Criminal Justice. I have always loved helping others whether its people or animals, so I wanted to get a job one day where I can do just that. I’ve grown up in a superhero loving family so it’s definitely contributed to me wanting to be like them in the way that they give people hope and help. I have grown up babysitting babies and kids from my church and in the nursery since I was 16 (now almost 22) and have always loved it! I would love to be the person who you can count on and trust with who you care about most.

I am a college student (majoring in elementary education). I have a really strong passion for kids, which explains my major. I have 4 years of experience working with infants-toddlers. you can add a few extra years if we’re considering the experience I have with my younger siblings, lol. Most importantly, I enjoy being around kids. I enjoy answering their random questions, listening to their stories, playing games with them & so much more. If you are wondering, I do have a certificate in CPR/First Aid. No worries. I am very great with kids. In my opinion, kids make the world a better place!

In my experience working at a daycare, being in a kindergarten classroom, and in my classes at JSU, I have gained experience working with and learning about children. I have been able to learn behavior management and how to best help care for children. I love helping and working with children!
