Hello! I am a current undergraduate student at UVA looking for babysitting jobs for when I am available! I have worked closely with children as I work as a pediatric dental assistant back in my hometown and have taken a childhood development class that allowed me to work closely with preschoolers. I also currently am a mentor/tutor volunteer at a public middle school in Albermarle county!

I am an experienced educator with a Master's Degree in Childhood and Special Education, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia! I spent three years teaching Elementary School in Brooklyn, New York at the largest and top-performing charter school in New York City. I taught second, third, fourth, and even eighth grade students a variety of subjects (including English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science). I earned an "Excellence Award" for my high performance as a teacher, an award reserved for educators who went above and beyond in advancing my charter school's mission and achieving superior results. I love working with children and supporting them in becoming their most confident selves, seeing them grow, learn, and accomplish at their highest ability. I have recently moved back home to Birmingham, Alabama from Brooklyn, and am looking to apply my teaching experience and continue to work with children in childcare!
