Hi! My name is Shriya, and I am a senior at Vanderbilt University studying Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management on a pre-med track. I have two years of experience shadowing and assisting a pediatrician and an additional year as a scribe, so I am CPR and first-aid certified and have practical experience in pediatric healthcare. With 10 years of babysitting experience, I am available for late-night and overnight care. I have cared for infants as young as 1 month, providing support withdiaper changes, bottle warming, and more. I also have experience with special-needs care, having worked as a camp counselor assisting differently-abled campers for three summers. As a first year college student who has never once lived in a city until now, I am just finding out about all of the opportunities available to me. Taking care of children has always been one of my absolute favorite things to ever do; I am extremely grateful this platform has given me the opportunity to seek out gigs that do not ever feel incredibly tedious to me, or even like a a job at all. I love interacting with children in all types of ways including tutor-like skills when necessary. In high school, I lived in one very small town where I had begun to offer piano lessons to our community, and that was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever experienced. Along with childcare, I am happy to provide any tutoring services if they are needed as well as piano and/or vocal lessons if you may also be seeking services like those!
