Hi friends! I’m Mrs. Leslie, but most of my littles know me as Essie. My husband and I have been married for 26 years, and we live in Hartselle, Alabama, where we have raised our children. We have a daughter who just graduated from Auburn and a son who will begin his junior year at Auburn in the fall of 2026. Outside of raising my own children, I have a lot of experience working with kids. During my college years, I worked as a nanny and also taught Safe Sitter classes while working at our local hospital. For nearly 20 years, I have been teaching aquatic survival lessons to children. From 2012 to 2023, I managed and owned a pediatric physical therapy clinic. Early in 2023, I had a medical issue that required me to sell my practice. After recovering, I decided I wanted to do something that felt more like a mission than just a job. I became a nanny for a sweet three month old who is now two years old. I would love the opportunity to help more families with their kiddos. I love anything involving water and the outdoors, and I am happy to transport children as needed. I enjoy taking kids on outings to the library, the park, walks, and swimming, and I am also willing to travel with families.
