I am a full time student at the University of the Incarnate Word following their pre physical therapy track receiving a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Sciences and a minor in Psychology. I’m an extremely social person so I get along great with kids of all ages and have great communication when it comes to parents or guardians. For many years I served as a youth leader in which I worked with kids from preschool to eighth grade. I was responsible for helping the kids get from one place to another, conducting and supervising activities which I created based upon learning needs, helping prepare and provide snacks, as well as keeping constant communication with parents and providing details of the child’s behavior and any other possible concerns. I also have a BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, meaning I am certified in First aid, as well as adult, child, and infant CPR. The training I received to attain this certification gives me confidence in my ability to keep children safe when they are within my care.
