Hi! My name is Mikaela! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a B. S. in Biomedical Sciences. I have recently been accepted to a Physician Assistant graduate program that will start this summer. I am looking to baby sit as a way to save money for PA school, and I also love working with kiddos! During high school, I volunteered at my church's vacation bible school as a group leader. While attending Texas A&M, I worked as a caregiver in the nursery/preschool ministry, ages ranging from infant to 6 years. Additionally, I worked with children of all ages as a medical assistant in a family care office for over 2 years and as a lifeguard at Hurst Aquatics for 2 summers. I have tutoring experience in several subjects (college-level math, science, and history). I have maintained BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association since 2019. I have special experience with food allergies and know how to use an Epi-Pen (I, myself, carry one for my severe peanut allergy!).
