Growing up I was the go-to babysitter for family friends because of my love for working with kids. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are building forts, playing board games, and reading together. About 10-15 minutes before the parents get home, I like to have the kids help me clean up our mess so the parents have a clean home. It's always funny watching the kids spend 10 minutes cleaning one small task while I finish the rest of the cleanup! I think it gives them a chance to learn some responsibility, keeps them busy, and helps make sure they don’t create any new messes!!
