At Samford, I was a co-author of a selected proposal for a $75,000 EPA Environmental Justice grant to provide asthma education to underserved youth in rural Alabama through a virtual summer camp program. My off campus involvement has included volunteering at the Special Equestrians in Talladega, an organisation which teaches special needs children to ride horses and has provided me with extensive special needs care experience, interning with an asthma education camp, and working in retail and music entertainment.
