I have spent the past year working at an afterschool program where I looked after first and second graders. I especially enjoyed playing sports and other physical activities with the children. We also did many arts and crafts activities. I have also worked at a summer schoolprogram the past two summers where I taught children to read and do math. I have also babysat for some toddler age children in the past. Being around children and nuturing them truly brings me such feelings of love and joy. I also have a lot of experience managing the emotional conflicts that children sometimes go through because my previous job had many children dealing with difficult family circumstances.
