I’m currently into a lot of physical health fitness. I love the gym and recently got into yoga and I’m so grateful for it!! I love to prioritize and implement productivity with equal balance of downtime in my own life and that’s what id aim to emphasize for your kids. School is more draining than anyone can imagine until your experiencing it and some days even now all I want to do when I get home is decompress and relax with some yummy food and go on a nice evening walk afterwards. The best quality I believe I have that I can advocate for is communication. As a child I found expressing my difficulties extremely challenging and it took me years to feel confident and comfortable to actually have real meaningful conversations with my own parents. Now because of this I care so deeply about replicating everything I’ve learned in hard or uncomfortable conversations to open and maintain a safe/confideable atmosphere for not just kids but everyone in my life.P.S this is the only selfie I could find of myself I’m a bit embarrassed lol

In my younger life, I managed an emergency placement center (for twelve children) who were taken from abusive/neglect situations.Later, I gave birth to and raised a child of my own. As his mom, I was involved in every childhood adventure.This included sewing costumes for our town's children's theater, volunteering to teach children how to read/write in schools, all things related to scouting merit badges, selling cokes and popcorn at football games and hosting a safe space for his friends to gather.One day, the child I raised left home and moved away and now I'm missing all the little people I once had in my life.I'm at the grandma stage of life wishing I could read books, watch children play in a park and maybe push a swing.I'm not as young as I once was but I still have the eagle eyes and instinct of a mom and I'd love to rock some little ones to sleep.
