I have two younger sisters and a younger brother, so I’ve grown up taking care of them, along with cousins and other extended family members. From the age of about 16 on, I did babysitting jobs on and off for multiple families, including neighbors, my mom’s boss, and family friends. When I was 20, I found a job nannying for a family of three boys, ages 3, 7, and 10 years. When I was almost 22, I started working at a daycare at the lead teacher of the infant classroom. Across all these childcare jobs, I’ve had experience with many different ages and personalities of children, as well as experience with up to eight children at a time. I like working with kids because I love knowing I'm helping them shape their personalities, build life skills, and have another adult in their life they know loves them and that they can trust.

Hey, my name is Alaa. I’m 19 years old and moved to Virginia about a year ago. I’m still learning English and improving my communication skills every day. I love kids and have been taking care of my little sister since she was a baby. She’s honestly like my own daughter because I’ve helped raise her and I’m still very involved in caring for her. Taking care of her has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a safe and supportive environment for children. I enjoy spending time with kids, helping them learn, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Hi! My name is Ali and I'm currently a college student at Northern Virginia Community College and babysitter. I love taking care of babies and kids especially under the age of 10 because I believe those are the most important years for nurturing and learning. I have four years of childcare experience and currently nanny for two families, but am looking for another nannying job to fill up the rest of my time. I am able to help with cooking, light housekeeping, providing transportation for children, changing diapers, etc. I am pursuing a career in healthcare as an Ultrasound Tech, and I am also CPR and First aid certified in adults, children, and infants. I take my job(s) very seriously as I am caring for someone else's child as my own. During my free time I enjoy traveling, photography/ art, reading, and learning new skills :)
